Swedish brand Acne Studios presented its Fall/Winter 2023 collection during Paris Fashion Week. The show took place at Lycée Carnot and was full of mysticism and futurism. Here are all the details you need to know.
The designs
The designs seem to feature the different faces of fall and winter in Sweden. Darker earth tones and asymmetry dominate the futuristic collection. Flowers, plants, and tree bark inspired the textures and details of the garments.

Cropped tops, lace-up sandals, and an abundance of leaf and flora motives make you feel like part of a divine forest. The collection emphasizes layering and long, floor-sweeping coats in earthy brown tones that evoke the forest.
The garments have a draped style that resembles vines on a tree, with long sleeves and torn strips of fabric that accentuate the model’s movement, like leaves fluttering in the wind. The draped look is contrasted with boxy, oversized shapes.
