Meet the Stockholm-based brand that is taking the world by storm with its unique and bold designs all made from upcycled home textiles.
Rave Review
Rave Review was founded by talented designers Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück who met while studying at Beckmans College of Design. A year after they graduated, they they started the brand drivedn by the strong belief that the fashion industry must completely transform to survive.
Created out of the excitement of discovering a way to minimize pollution in the fashion industry, Rave Review quickly turned into a successful project focused on “high-end remakes”. This turned into their niche: creating clothes solely from existing materials.
The brand debuted in 2017 with a collection primarily made from bed sheets and presented at the Swedish Institute in Paris. Bergqvist and Schück didn’t stop there and over the years, they have demonstrated a clear direction to use various innovative techniques to transform home textiles into desirable clothing. Undoubtedly, one of their most iconic items is the blanket coat.
Latest Collection
The brand’s SS23 collection seems to be inspired by some magical garden in heaven. Flower prints, vintage lace, asymmetric forms and spiral cuts are some of the elements that make the designs so fairytale-like. The cropped tops and the bra-like straps seem like an effective time machine to the 90s. Looking at the designs one after another, they resemble the revival of nature following the end of the winter season. As if life is coming back in a very playful and colorful way.
Rave Review is a true inspiration and we, at Konsha, can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with next.
